In 2005 I moved back to my parents house at the age of 26, it was a low point. I found solace in a random MySpace group of others struggling with life on life’s terms. I made friends in that group which continued over the years. Matt (RIP 2023), Tonya, Will (RIP) and also Jaden. They (Will & Jaden) came as a package deal and I’m grateful to have made friends with both. Back then I can remember sharing our dreams, hopes and aspirations when we were still basically kids. While I’ve never met any of them in real life, yahoo messenger had video calling back then. I still remember when Jaden and Will told me they were expecting their first, Ian. I can remember both of them just absolutely GLOWING w excitement. It was such a beautiful thing to witness bc I knew when that baby was born, he would be loved hard by very proud parents. Jaden and Will both came into my life when I was very isolated and depressed. It felt good to build friendships with them just to have someone to talk to that day bc I was 10 miles from any one else to talk to besides my family. Will shared health issues that I too had and it gave me hope. When I was at my lowest, his stories and Jaden’s optimism helped me build the foundation I laid to get better. Thank you Jaden. Thank you Will. I appreciate the parts you played in my life in a desperate time.
