William Joseph Bolk, 86, of El Paso, Texas, passed away peacefully on 5/26/2022. surrounded by family and loved ones. William grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana, but also called New Castle, Indiana and Houston, Texas his home before moving to El Paso. William spent time as a coach and teacher, and enjoyed sports and fishing.

William played basketball for the Gerstmeyer Wildcats, playing in the Indiana State High School Final Four, and attended the University of Illinois. William enjoyed a good basketball or baseball game, word searches and his morning newspaper. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.

William Bolk was predeceased by his parents, William C. Bolk and Zelma Bolk Miller, and his brother Jerry Bolk. He is survived by 3 daughters Sheryl Peck, Beth Miller and Amy Wolfe as well as multiple grandchildren. A celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services.
