Dear Family,
I met Bill at St. Anthony’s Seminary in 1958. We became life-long friends when he “willed” his jar of “Jiffy” peanut butter to me when he was “kicked out” of the seminary.
When Bill told his mother “Peg” that we were going to celebrate our 21st birthdays at the Colony Club - a local strip tease joint - her response was: “Don’t let any tassels hit you in the face!”
For years Bill touted “Irish Bushmills” as his favorite Irish whiskey, until he learned that it was “Protestant”! Then it was “Jameson” all the way.
But I would be remiss if I failed to mention that Bill was a man of great faith in Jesus. Several times, I found Bill attending Adoration at Mary Star of the Sea. Bill loved God, his wife Ahn, his children and Mary Star of The Sea Parish.
Too many memories filled with laughter, stories and good times to recount here. David, Ray, Mike, Bruce and I will miss Bill at our yearly gathering. We love you Bill and look forward to being with you in the Colony Club of Heaven where we can enjoy a shot of Jameson in good company.
