William's obituary

William “Bill” McClellan went home to Jesus on September 04, 2025 at age 91.

Bill was born to George and Pett McClellan on August 05, 1934 in Fond du Lac, WI.  He was raised by his mom and stepfather, Ted Goede, in a beautiful lakeside home. Bill met his wife, Nancy, in 1958 in Oshkosh, WI. They married June 18, 1960 and went on to adopt 2 children, Megan and Douglas. Bill worked as recreational therapist in a mental hospital, spent his free time as a scout master, and later, loving caregiver to his wife. He was an active member of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International and the Lion's Club.

In 1977, the family moved to Tucson, Arizona to be closer to Nancy's sisters in Phoenix.  They loved singing in the church choir, opened their home to countless people needing a roof over their head, and endlessly loving people to Jesus until she passed in 2013.   He rededicated his life to live as Christ in 1991 at a Promise Keepers rally with his son.  Since then, he has held an unwavering faith in his Savior, which he enthusiastically shared with all those who surrounded him. Bill resided in Tucson until God called him home.

Bill joins his beautiful bride, Nancy McClellan, and his brother, Ted Goede, in Heaven. He is survived by his sister, Liz Ceske, daughter, Megan (Joe) Peterson, son, Douglas (Michele) McClellan, grandchildren, Mark, Karrigan and Emilie, great grandchildren, London and Parker, and many loving family members.
