Derry, NH - William (Bill) Mannion, 77, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2022, at Birch Heights retirement community in Derry after a long illness. Bill and his wife Patricia, were long time residents of Alton and Wilmot.
Bill was born in the Bronx, received a BA in History from St. John’s University and an MA in History specializing in Russia, China, and Japanese economic development.
He worked at the New York Times from 1962 …
