Personal note from Bill’s wife

Bill and I married in 2016 . I had been widowed 20 years ...we had been friends for 8 years and one day after he became widowed, we realized how we were both lonely...enjoyed each other’s company and was beginning to feel how deeply we cared for each other. Very unexpectedly, we decided to marry, which changed our lives forever...This man spoiled me rotten, waiting on me hand and foot and each and everyday making me smile for absolutely no reason... We grew more and more in love each day we spent together..Bill was my best friend and was my safe place to fall..I am so blessed he walked into my life and still feel like I was a new bride..his favorite thing to do was sneak up behind me in the kitchen, scaring me horribly..then hugging me laughing... my husband never raised his voice, never said a curse word...always had a kind word and a smile for everyone.. Oh, how I loved him....Bill was diagnosed with his Cancer, shortly after we married, so we made everyday a day to remember, even if we never left our home..I will miss you my dear hubby so much...As lonely as I am, as heartbroken as I am, I would rather have loved you and lost you, than to have never loved you at all...God sent you into my life to show me how wonderful a woman should be treated...I always told you I would rather spend my worst day with you than my best without you....and that was so true....until I see you again...
