Dad was not only my buddy and friend, but also my best man. I am truly at peace with his passing, however; filling the void of his loss will always be difficult with a daily, continuing urge to call and visit. I’ve always told him that I call because I care and you never get the time back. He gave me the greatest gift a father could give. He believed in me. He never told me how to live, he just always told me: “Whatever you do, make sure that your choices will make me proud.” And I always will…..
