Bill's obituary
We mourn the loss of William "Bill" Belsher, who passed away on December 12, 2025. Born on October 26, 1959, Bill touched the hearts of many with his warm, patient, and kind nature. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who imbued in his kin the value of love, perseverance, and lifelong learning.
Bill leaves behind his wife, Debbie Belsher, their children; Rebecca Schutz, Leticia Daniels, and Christopher Belsher, plus their spouses; Benjamin Schutz and Stacy Belsher. His lineage also includes his cherished grandchildren, Jamie Paterson, Michael Daniels, and Amelia Schutz. He leaves a legacy through his great-grandsons, embodying his love and teachings.
Bill was predeceased by his mother, Janis Belsher, but his mark on this world extends beyond family ties. As a devoted educator at Lincoln Tech College, he mentored countless mechanics, instilling in them unwavering work ethics and honed expertise. This dedication to education carried into his personal life where he shared life's lessons with his family, including his granddaughter Jamie’s personal favorite, the Time Warp.
His professional accomplishments were commendable. His work as a claims adjuster at Warren Tech spanned over two decades and saw him navigate complex issues with tenacity and grace. Yet, he always made time for his hobbies. Bill was fond of model railroads, R.C. cars, computers, and guns. But above all these activities, he treasured the moments shared with his family, into which he poured his entire heart.
As we bid farewell to Bill Belsher, his memory will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. His life was a testament to patience, warmth, and kindness; traits we will carry forward in his memory.
