William's obituary

William "Will" Allen Crenshaw passed away of natural causes related to diabetes on Friday, Feb. 7, 2025, in Buckeye, Ariz. Will was born on May 24, 1975 in Van Nuys, Calif. When he was 6 years old, Will moved with his family to Alaska, where he loved playing and sledding in the snow. Six years later he moved with his parents to Jacksonville, Fla., and discovered his love for drafting and CAD. In 1993 Will graduated from First Coast Technical High School, working as a drafting intern before moving to San Diego and serving as an IT support technician. In 2000 William married Sheri Morero, later settling in Buckeye, Ariz.

Will was one of the most chill and lovely people you could meet: “It is what it is” is how he faced the multiple setbacks in his life, including those related to his health. He loved sci-fi (including Star Wars), playing video games, and hanging out at the beach in Florida. But most of all, he loved his family, helping raise Sheri’s children until they were grown, and then raising and adopting his grandson Abel.

William was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Gene, who passed away in 2021 and his mother, Betty Jean, who passed away in 1998. William leaves behind his wife Sheri; step-sons Cameron and Kyle Damon (Jewel), step-daughter Chelsea (Trevor Doherty), his adopted son Abel; brother Thomas (Kristen), nephew Connor, 5 grandchildren (Stone, Savannah, Wyatt, Brooke and Blossom) and many other loving and wonderful friends and family.
