William 'Bill' Robert Abatecola passed away on December 10, 2021, at his home in Tucson, AZ. He was 76 years old just 21 days from his 77th birthday. He lived in Tucson for 30+ years. He loved it here. The desert, the mountains, the car shows, the history. He was married to Maryclare "Miki" Abatecola for 45+ years. He has one stepdaughter, Trish Montaquila-Mowry, married to Eric Mowry, and their daughter Isabella Rose Mowry. He has one daughter, Kristina 'Tina' Abatecola, and two sons, Mark A. Abatecola and Adam C. Abatecola. Three granddaughters, Alustriel Keech, Yesenia Abatecola, and Andrea Abatecola. Many step-grandchildren to be.

He was a writer, a metal sculptor, a chef, a salesman, truly a renascence man! He loved to fabricate! He was an entrepreneur! East Providence Welding Company, Captain Bill's Mobile Boat Repair, New York Lasagna Company, Abatecola Metal Sculptor, and Old Iron AZ LLC are a few of the companies he owned and operated with his wife.

He loved to cook for his family. Christmas Eve was special in our Family. He would make homemade spinach pies and pizzas.  He was loving and fun! Had a great sense of humor. Loved to tell his own life stories and adventures. 

Loved American history and would be happy to answer any question and elaborate on that issue. He loved the USA and he served his country by repairing and welding aequipment at different shipyards.
