About Adapt-Able Foundation

We’re a veteran-operated non-profit dedicated to bringing together adaptive and able-bodied people so everyone can have their lives changed by experiencing the magic of SCUBA. Every single person on our board, leadership team, and volunteer staff cares deeply about creating opportunities for people with physical, emotional, and developmental disabilities so they can enjoy SCUBA diving.

We all bring different strengths and abilities to the table to achieve Adapt-Able’s mission and values for the disabled community. As a passionate, diverse collective of people, the Adapt-Able Foundation has first-hand, expert knowledge of physical therapy, disability support needs for adults, children, and veterans, and SCUBA diving.

Whether adaptive divers have cognitive or physical challenges, fostering opportunities and environments for them to stay safe and enjoy the life-changing experience of SCUBA is what we care about. Whether adaptive divers try out SCUBA in confined water once or twice, or their “TRY SCUBA” experience fosters a new passion in their lives for underwater exploration, we see the experience constantly be a launching point for confidence, independence, and self-esteem building.
