How you can help
Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,
on November 11, 2024, I lost my father, Wilfred. With his passing, I am now the last surviving member of my family. In January 2021, my mother passed away, and my brother followed in April 2023. With each loss, I have felt the weight of grief grow heavier, and now, in losing my dad, it feels like my world has been shattered.
My father was a kind-hearted, gentle soul who made a difference in the lives of so many. He always expressed his love for others through actions, and I want to honor him in a way that reflects the deep love and respect I have for him. But as I am navigating this time on my own, the financial cost of arranging a funeral that celebrates his life is more than I can bear alone
I Created This Fundraiser
I created this fundraiser to seek help with my father's funeral expenses. With no other family members left to lean on, I am humbly reaching out to anyone willing to support me in giving my father a respectful farewell. Your donations will allow me to focus on honoring his memory rather than worrying about how to afford it.
The funds raised will go toward essential expenses to give my father the farewell he deserves. Here’s a breakdown of how the donations will help:
Casket: A respectful resting place that reflects the dignity and love he carried throughout his life.
Plot: A final resting place where family and friends can visit to pay their respects.
Flowers: To honor his gentle spirit and add warmth to his farewell service.
Funeral home fees: Covering the arrangements, preparation, and use of the chapel for his service.
Clergy officiant: To provide a meaningful service that celebrates his life and brings closure to those who knew him.
Lunch: A modest meal after the service where loved ones can gather, share memories, and find comfort in each other’s presence
