Wilda (Rie) M. Waller-Prenger
Rie passed away on Monday (June 10, 2024) surrounded by her two daughters and family in Oro Valley, Tucson Arizona. She gained her heavenly wings and is resting in the arms of Jesus.
She is survived by her husband James L. Prenger of Hereford, Arizona; two daughters Denise (Billy) Johnson of Cedar Bluff, Alabama, and Shellie (Lori) Burger of Olympia, Washington. Also survived by two granddaughters Shawn (Ryan) Ferrell and Jessica (Cochise) Crisp of Centre, Alabama and two grandsons Kyle Miller of Douglas, Arizona and Harley Miller of Bonanza, Oregon and six great grandchildren Brendon, Hayden, Tarin, Caden, Keagan, and Kaylee.
Rie was born on April 19, 1952, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, a daughter of the late Clifton Waller and Sophia Davis. She attended high school at an all-girls Catholic School followed by a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arizona. She attended Shiloh Christian Ministries in Sierra Vista, Arizona
Rie worked as an assistant director of transportation for Catholic community services in Sierra Vista, Arizona. In her spare time, she enjoyed her pugs, socializing with friends, family vacations, watching movies, great food, and fishing.
