William's obituary
William "Bill" Lewis Sellers III passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, in the St. Louis Metro area, surrounded by those who loved him.
Bill was born on December 3, 1960, in Valparaiso, Indiana, to William Louis Sellers Jr. and Barbara Ann Kraft. At the age of six, his family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where he spent much of his life before moving to the St. Louis Metro area in 2014.
Bill is survived by his daughter Linda Mathis (Joe), his son Robert Coones, his granddaughter Kenna, his cousin Cathy Wroten (Bobby), and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Robert "Butch" Sellers; and his daughter Samantha "Sami" Hudson Sellers.
Bill worked for many years as a maintenance professional at apartment complexes, where he was known for going above and beyond for both his employers and tenants. Before that, he worked as an electrician, a trade he greatly enjoyed. Bill was a man who loved deeply and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
He will be remembered as a kind-hearted soul who touched the lives of many with his generosity and warmth.
