I was so sorry to learn of Wick's passing. I met him through the CT Historical facebook page and was writing a post about a great book I had read, "Griswold Point", he put a comment under my post and said, "I am glad you liked the book". I was so surprised, I shared that I had read the book and it was from the library and then bought it. He then told me, if you want to meet, I can sign it for you. So, we met at Teddy's Old Lyme Pizza and he did sign the book. It was a great meeting and we shared so many concerns about the environment and the CT River.  I have read a few more of his books. He was a good man and is missed.

I loved this guy.  We met in college, he was in grad school I was a freshman.  We got along as if we were the same age.  Wick had many interests as did I.  I liked  poetry and he wrote poetry and short stories.  Wick had many tall tails, I thought he was funny.

Long story short, we wrote a great song together called "Love King".  Maybe, I will send it next I communicate.
