How you can help

, loStarting "Light After Loss" is deeply personal for me, rooted in the profound loss of my daughter, Whitnee, who passed away May 29th, 2022. She believed she was taking a Percocet 30, but the pill was laced with fentanyl, a lethal substance, that took her life way too soon. Whitnee was vibrant, loving, and had a desire to make a difference in this world. Through this tragedy, I realized how devistating the opioid crisis truly is, not for just those directly affected, but for the families and communities left behind. This business is my way of honoring her memory, continuing her mission of helping others, and shedding light on a crisis that takes lives everyday.

Light After Loss is not just a store; it's a space for healing, remembrance, and education. I want to create a platform where people ccan not only find custom, personalized memorial items to honor their loved ones, but also access valuable resources on addiction, recovery, and coping with grief. The opioid epidemic is often discussed in statistics and headlines, but behind every number is a story like Whitnee's. By sharing my own experience and providing a place where others can do the same, I hope to build a supportive community where people can find strength, share memories, and work together to raise awareness and fight this epidemic.
