Wes's obituary
Wesley “Wes” Lynn Clubb, 68, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on November 20, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family, who loved him deeply and cared for him every step of the way.
Wes was born on May 24, 1957, in Wichita, Kansas, to Archie and Jeneane Clubb. He married his high-school sweetheart, Beverly, in 1978, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and faith. Their greatest joy came from raising their four children and later watching their family grow with grandchildren.
Wes lived his life with a gentle heart and unwavering faith. He was a devoted husband, a loving grandfather—known as Papo to his grandkids—and an exceptional father. His children will always remember him as a steady, comforting presence in every season of life. His last heartfelt request to them was simple but powerful: “Be kind to each other.” Those words, full of love and wisdom, will continue to guide them throughout their lives. In his final moments, Wes gathered his family around him and lovingly led them in a beautiful sinner’s prayer, a reflection of the faith that shaped his entire life.
He loved spending time with his family, praying with them, and being part of their everyday lives. He found joy in the simple things—morning coffee, family gatherings, Disneyland trips with Bev, occasional game nights, and being surrounded by those he loved. In the quieter moments, he enjoyed golfing, setting up his wood-shop for upcoming projects, and had recently rediscovered his joy in building model cars. He especially loved decorating for the Christmas season, filling the home with festive cheer while playing his favorite Christmas music, always remembering the true meaning of Christmas—the birth of Jesus.
Wes is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Jeneane. He is survived by his wife Beverly; his children Andrea (Joseph), Valerie, Vanessa (Justin), and Eric; and his cherished grandchildren—granddaughters Jocelyn and Juliette, and grandsons Justin Jr., Jayden, Christian, Jaxton, and Jace. He is also survived by his beloved grand-dog Julius; his sisters Christine (Joe), Charlene, and Laurie (John); his brother Darrin (Kimberly); and his nieces and nephews. Each of them carries a part of his love and his spirit.
Honoring his wishes, Wes will be cremated, and the family will hold a celebration of life. They will continue to cherish his memory in the everyday moments he made so meaningful.
Wes’s life was a testament to love, faith, and family. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and joy that will continue to inspire all who knew him. Though he is deeply missed, his family takes comfort in the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ, and in the memories of a life well-lived, full of love and faith.
