Wendy's obituary
Wendy was born on May 3, 1951. Although she spent many years being raised in California, her roots were established in Boston, Massachusetts where her family and friends are. Wendy has always been dedicated to her family and never hesitated to put their needs before her own. She has also been a wonderful friend offering support in any way that she could. Wendy lived her life unknowingly exhibiting class, strength, intelligence, and had the ability to speak softly authority. All who have had the honor of knowing her knew this and felt this in their hearts.
Sadly, our lives changed in December of 2019. Wendy was experiencing pain and went to the doctor. It was then that she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of uterine cancer that had spread throughout her abdomen. Even after being diagnosed she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was she was always determined to fight her disease with optimism. Through her, we know what grace and resilience truly look like.
Wendy is survived by her three children David, Christine, and Arrie, and her grandchildren Aliyah, Shila, Gabriella. She is now in the presence of God with her husband David as well as her grandson Jacob.
Due to Wendy’s wishes there will not be a wake or funeral, she requested an immediate cremation and distribution of her remains to her children. There will however be a memorial scheduled at a future date that will allow all to gather to honor the life she lived and the love she shared
