Wendy's obituary

Wendy Hoffman Gray passed away Wednesday, September 11 in Palm Beach Gardens. She will be missed not only by her family but by almost everyone she encountered. Her beauty and charm, her love of people, made her special to one and all. Born in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in Colonial Beach, Virginia. Wendy received her degree from the College of William and Mary. After graduation Wendy moved to New York City to work for Mutual of New York Insurance Company. Shortly thereafter she met the love of her life, Edward Gray. They married 9 months later on November 22, 1959. Wendy is survived by her husband of almost 65 years, Edward, sons Robert (Wendy), Lawrence, granddaughters Nicole Zaretsky (Samuel), Kelly, grandsons Michael (Maxx), Brendan (fiancé Emily), and Ryan. And Great Grandson, Reid Zaretsky. Our hearts are broken by the loss of this amazing woman. Wendy was a survivor of a Bone Marrow Transplant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital in 2013.
