STOUGHTON - Wende K. Geier, age 45, of Stoughton, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021. She was born on June 17, 1976, in Madison, the daughter of Wendell and SueAnn (Knipfer) Geier. Wende enjoyed fishing, playing card games, going to Devil’s Lake, cooking, and spending quality time with her family and boyfriend, Guntis, and her two kitty cats. Her daughter Taelar, was her greatest accomplishment and the joy of her life. She was so proud of the woman she became. She fiercely loved all of her pets, past and present, which she treated like royalty. Wende was known for her incredible strength, her sass, and her big heart. She never failed to make someone feel special and loved. She will be missed more than words can express. 

Wende is survived by her her daughter, Taelar Rae, boyfriend, Guntis Zeps, siblings Sean (Diana) Strand, Valerie Winters, Melanie (Randy) Ross, Wendell “Tack” Geier, Suzie (Jay) Kim, and many nieces and nephews: Ryan, Sarah, Tyler, Brady, Casey, Cooper, Lennon, Kyra, CJ and Chloe. She was preceded in death by her parents and her many fur-babies. 

 As a final act of selflessness, Wende’s eyes were donated to the Lion’s Eye Bank of Wisconsin so someone else can see how beautiful life can be. 

 A celebration in her honor will be held at a later date.
