My family and I heard about my dad's passing late on May 15th,2024, but sadly he passed March 26th, 2024 and was placed at the hospital in Clayton County in the freezer in the morg, and to be cremated if they couldn't contact the family. We never received any calls and let them know that, but one of my older sisters(works in ER for over 25 years) that lives in Georgia, finally got a call about him and his passing and told the family immediately. We have everything picked out so that his body may be transferred directly to the burial site, but have only been able to put together and raise $4,160 . We are coming up short for the burial, transporting the body, and the rest of the funeral services. We just want peace and for his body to be properly buried, this is a very hard and stressful time and situation. We are praying that by Friday, May 24th,2024 we will have raised the remaining balance so he can finally be lay to rest! This breaks all our hearts and finding out last minute put the family in a bind, as we just want to do what's right and fulfill his wishes of how he wanted to be buried if/when he did pass. Thank you in advance and with much respect for those who can help us before this deadline, as we are trying to have the service on Saturday( May 25th).
