Wayne's obituary

Wayne Allen Schreiner, 82, of Goldsby, OK, passed away on January 04, 2023 in his home surrounded by his family.


Wayne was born on October 8th, 1940 to Theodore and Frederica Schreiner in Greenway South Dakota. He was 1 of 4 children, Joyce, Maxine and Jimmy. He joined the Army in August of 1959, and served until 1966 when he was honorably discharged. He met Sharon as a young boy and they wed in 1961, they went on to have 4 children, Daniel who was married to Bev before his passing in 2018, Kathleen who is married to Leo, Karol who is married to Brian and Duane who is married to Gail. He did divorce Sharon but in 1993  he found Betty whom he was happily married to until 2015 when she passed. He then moved to Oklahoma where he attended Church and was visited frequently with grandkids and great grandkids attending family events and being with his dogs Gidget and Joey. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Taunie, Anthony, Karol Ann, Niko, Jessica and Jonathan and his great grandchildren, Andreana, Khloey, Payton, Jayden, Raelyn, Tristan and Arabella.  Wayne was a kind soul with a witty sense of humor and a kind heart, he loved guns and was a part of a church group who played chicken foot. He loved to watch his great grandchildren's sports and activities. Hee-Haw and John Wayne movies were the only thing you could find that played on his TV. Wayne is proceeded in death by his parents, his brother, and his sister Joyce along with his son Daniel. He is survived by his sister Maxine, his children Kathleen, Karol and Duane along with all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service for Wayne is pending.
