Wayne Leon Ratliff born May 13th 1963 has passed away on Nov. 26th 2020
Wayne, an avid fisherman, and bowler in his earlier years died in his home in Carter Lake, Iowa. He was 57
On March 24, 1983, he married his first and only wife, Dorothy Bazer until parted by death. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia and parents Jerry Ratliff and Patricia (Cunningham) Ratliff.
Wayne worked for Frosty Treats for the better part of thirty years and is better known to some as “the ice cream, and or ding ding, man”. Wayne often made special stops at his grandchildren’s home to deliver their favorite ice cream during his workdays.
Wayne enjoyed boating and fishing with his wife, children and grandchildren and would entertain the family with his many fishing stories.
Wayne is survived by spouse, Dorothy, his 6 children, Tony Bazer, Jennifer Ratliff, Candy Ratliff, Sarah Ratliff, Jeffrey Ratliff and Dylan Ratliff.
Ratliff is survived by his 4 brothers, Kevin, Scott, Richard and Steven Ratliff. Ratliff is survived by many grandchildren.
A memorial service for Wayne Ratliff is to be held on December 19, 2020 at 1:00pm at Park Lane Baptist Church.
