Wayne's obituary

We announce the loss of a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather Wayne William Harmon. He was born on November 3, 1932, and passed away on October 20, 2024.

Survived by a devoted family, his loving wife, Dana Mae Harmon, his son Paul Harmon, his son Dave Harmon, and his daughter, Danette Harmon Morgan. He is predeceased by his father, Glenn Harmon,  his mother, Hertha Harmon, and his brother, Roger Harmon.

Wayne's academic journey started at Washburn High School in Minneapolis, where he graduated in 1950. He further extended his education at the University of Minnesota, graduating in 1954.

A man of excellent taste, Wayne loved to savor meatloaf and Dinty Moore beef stew. Other than his culinary preferences, Wayne had a flair for living life to the fullest. His favorite games were more like adventures. He loved sailing, skiing, and golf.

Wayne was a super-spectator of his children's and grandchildren's sports and activities. His interests reflected his passion for sharing cherished moments with his loved ones. A man gifted with wit and a great sense of humor, Wayne had a philanthropic heart. His personality shone the brightest when he was sharing Wayne's Witty Wisdom's, lessons from his life that will be remembered and carried forward by his loved ones.

One of his greatest accomplishments was being a loving father and grandfather. His selfless love and relentless support for his family remain as a testament to his character. His departure has left an unfillable void in our lives, but his memories will always be cherished, and his wisdom will continue to guide us. Rest in peace, Wayne Harmon.
