Wayne and I were fraternity brothers at LSUNO but my most impactful recollection came years later. We bumped into each other during a time Wayne was caring for his ill wife Dena. His great care, concern and love for his wife and daughter were strikingly evident from our conversation and his posture. This recollection remains vivid to me to this day.
I'm so sorry to hear about Wayne's passing. What a wonderful man.  We met Wayne when my husband entered a care center due to  Early  Alzheimer's . Wayne was incredibly generous with his time, his incredible wit  and was also a  fantastic source of information.  The two  became fast friends and managed to shake things up a bit at a time that could have been a very dreary existence. Instead Wayne filled it  with kindness and fun. I will be forever grateful to him. Rest in Peace, Wayne.

Dear Rebecca,

I often enjoyed visiting with your Dad at Caledonian meetings.  My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Wayne was always a person that had great empathy and was honest. He believed in doing good deeds, and just not talking about them. He was a truly good man , and an angel on Earth . He was unique and I will forever miss his laugh,  being a gentleman, and someone who gave good advice. He was in love with my sister and was supportive during her fight with cancer. He loved her so much, and never truly moved on. I love you Wayne and may your soul rest in peace.
