On Friday, July 17, 2020, at the age of 74, peacefully at home after succumbing to lung cancer.
Loving father of Shirley (Bob), Terry(Darlene) and Colleen (Ed) and of former wife and life-long friend, Lorna Larocque. Loving grandfather of Chris, Matt (Steph), Amanda (Jervis) and Megan. Loving great-grandfather of Ava, Connor, Sophia and Vincent.
He is survived by his brothers, Barry(Penny), Glenn(France) and Randy(Sue). He is predeceased by his parents, Manuel Furlotte and Helena Hickey as well as his brothers, Rodney, Kevin and sister Gale.
He will be missed by many, his family, friends, co-workers and his "poker buddies". He was a quiet and strong man who worked hard and made sure others were always taken care of and happy. Never asked for anything in return. He was gracious, loving and always wanted the best for his family.
Sincere thanks to Dr Vincent and the personnel at Carefor for their loving care and compassion.

Funeral services will be held on Friday August 7, 2020 at St. Mark's Parish at 11:00 a.m. located at 160 rue Principale, Gatineau Quebec (Aylmer sector), followed by private family gathering at gravesite.
