Waymond's obituary

Waymond was born on September 30, 1960, in Kansas City, MO to Henry W. Williams and June Cox. Waymond passed unexpectedly on December 2, 2022. Waymond attended Southeast High School. Waymond loved music and enjoyed DJing extensively in the Kansas City Area. He had an immense passion for sports as he played softball and baseball and played on various teams. Waymond also coached many teams in the metro as well. He has often been described as a source of positivity and believed in giving back to the community. Waymond’s family and friends will miss him.

Waymond always loved that each of his children had a piece of him; from his love of cooking, baking, dogs, DJing, and sports.

Waymond is survived by his siblings: Vivian Williams, Darin Williams, Cecelia Littlejohn, and Debra Sorells; his children: Dion Williams, Armon Williams, Terri Tabron, Trinity Lightfoot, Keischa St. James, and Ashlee Williams; his seven grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

Waymond's celebration of life will be on December 17th at 1:00 p.m. at New Vision Christian Church. There will be refreshments afterward. Please wear Chiefs and Royals gear.
