Thinking of you on Father's Day!
Dad, we couldn’t have shared a more fitting time together this Father’s Day weekend. Under a clear night’s sky, surrounded by the behemoth sandstone formations at Red Rocks Amphitheater in the foothills of Morrison, CO, we enjoyed the music of folk-rock legend, James Taylor - live and in person! We sang, and we cried a little, as the soundtrack of our childhoods filled the breathtaking, outdoor stadium. All 9,525 seats were occupied as James played for two hours straight, stopping only to tell stories, swap out his guitar, or to introduce the incredible tribe of musicians that accompanied him. His son Henry, whose voice rivals that of James Taylor in his youth, included. Many attendees were your age, dad. And several had their adult children by their side. We so wish you could have been there, too. For a moment, however, we sure felt like you were. Love you, Dad. Angie and Jen

Our Welsh Society of Western New England mourns the death of Warren. We loved him so much. Working on his Morgan ancestry with him was an amazing, wondrous time. Every time I saw a Morgan statue, placard, floor mosaic I would send it to him in awe of this history. We loved his company at some of our events, including the Annual St David’s Day walk at Elizabeth Park in West Hartford. We will honor him at this year’s walk and at our luncheon on March 1.
I would love to hear from a family member.

I fondly remember Warren from our youth when we were both members of the youth group (Liberal Religious Youth) at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Greater Springfield and of the Classical High School class of 1967. In addition to memories of LRY activities, I remember going to a World's Fair (probably in New York) with Warren and his family. He was a great friend! The last time I saw him was at our last high school class reunion, many years ago, and it was a pleasure to see him. I believe that he was one of the organizers of that event. I heard the news of his death from another classmate, Wes Garner, last fall, but I had trouble believing it until I finally found this beautifully written obituary. I especially enjoyed seeing the photo from the sixties.
I wish you all peace and comfort.

Dear Angie, Jennifer and Christen,
My deepest condolences on the loss of your father and partner. He was one of the kindest and most genuine person I've ever met. Will there be a memorial service?
Kind regards,
Marty Kounitz
