Warren's obituary

Warren C. Weaver III (aka Dub and WC), 49, of Gleason, WI unexpectedly passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020. He was born in Chicago to Warren Jr. and June (Lenard) Weaver; but with his grandfather from Eagle River, Dub always felt more at home in Wisconsin and at an early age made Wisconsin his home.

Dub attended Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, IL and Nicolet College for Graphic Arts and Web Design. He was married twice. Dub and his first wife, Julie Tomlinson, had two amazing children, daughter Heather and son Rusty. Dub and his second wife of 13 years, Tracy Stephan, raised a blended family with an additional three loving children Brianna, Bobby, and Gianna. Dub and Tracy also unofficially adopted Robbie, Shauna, AJ, Dilly, and many other young adults that looked up to them as role models. Over his life, Dub held several jobs including Sprinkler Fitter, Tow Truck Driver, Insurance Claims Adjuster, Independent Business Owner and Web Master.

Dub had many interests and hobbies. He was a brilliant web master, skilled craftsman, total gear head, nature lover, and fisherman. Throughout his life he taught many people how to fish and repair engines of all types. To quote Dub, “If it has wheels or an engine, I’m in. Otherwise, I’ve gone fishing!”

Warren is preceded in death by his father Warren C. Weaver Jr. He leaves behind his beloved wife Tracy Stephan; his biological and adopted children Heather, Rusty, Brianna, Bobby, Gianna, Robbie, Shauna, AJ, and Dilly; former spouse, Julie Tomlinson; mother June Weaver; brother Patrick Weaver; sisters, Deanna Weaver-Josephitis, Tracy Elderson, Autumn Aquinaldo, and MeiLani Weaver; and, his absolute pride and joys – his grand babies Wyatt Stahl, Kayden Van Kamp, Tyler Rice, Reagan Lambrecht, and Jackson Shattuck.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00, on Saturday March 14, 2020 with the memorial service from 11:00-12:00 and reception from 12:00-2:00PM at the First Universalist Unitarian Church of Wausau with Reverend Brian Mason officiating. The church is located at 504 Grant Street, Wausau, WI 54403.
