Warren's obituary
Warren Joseph Cote Jr., 56, of Jay ME, passed away on Oct. 27th 2023 of health complications. He passed in the hospital surrounded by his family.
Warren was born on Feb. 10th, 1967 to Evelyn Stevens and Warren Cote Sr., of Swanville ME. He graduated from Belfast Area High School in 1985.
He met the love of his life, Deb, in 1992 and together they built a life and grew their family. They were big on family. They shared a love of Rock-n-Roll and antique cars.
Warren was a man of many talents. He was a gifted artist, mechanic, welder, and most importantly a teacher, he loved to share his knowledge with others.
He was an avid fisherman which was something his grandfather Edmund had passed onto him, just as he has passed that love of fishing to his children and grandchildren. The man could catch a fish in a mud puddle!
Warren also enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, tattooing, tinkering on engines and drawing. He was loved by many for his sense of humor and his story telling.
Warren is predeceased by his grandparents, his mother Evelyn, uncle Ed, brother Wayne and beloved wife Deb. He is survived by his five children, Patrick Hutchings of Stockton Springs, Lindsey Hutchings of Stockton Springs, Quincey Hutching of Jay, Lacey Long of Jay, and Tracey Cote of Jay. As well as his three grandchildren Tanner Hanson, Emily Danforth and Jameson Long.
He fought long and hard, suffering from numerous health issues. We find a litle bit of relief knowing that he has gone home to finally be with his wife again, after two long years apart.
