Wanita was born in Clare, Michigan in 1959 and grew up in Altoona, FL with her sisters, Debbie, Sue Ann, Kathy and her brother, Rob. She graduated from Umatilla High School. Wanita worked in the food industry, she loved cooking and she was very much a people person! She liked to go on vacation with her family to the mountains and she also really enjoyed the beach.
