Wanda's obituary
Wanda Rumph, age 54, of Eufaula, Alabama, passed away surrounded by love. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose light touched every life she encountered.
Wanda is survived by her loving husband, Norman Rumph; her five beloved children: Steven Darby, Demetrian Fenn, Noranda North (Isaiah North), Tysheria Rumph, and Tayshi Rumph; eight cherished grandchildren; her loving mother, Annie Lee Fenn; and her siblings Anthony Fenn, Cynthia Fenn, Felicia Fenn, and Renee Fenn (Tasha). She also leaves behind many nieces , nephews, foster brothers and sisters whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her foster mother, Pastor (Sarah) Lois Mitchell, who helped shape the compassionate and faith-filled woman she became.
From a young age, Wanda found joy in writing and singing. She wrote her own songs and would record herself singing on a tape recorder — a reflection of her creative spirit and love for self-expression. Her greatest joy in life, however, was her family.
Wanda was a beautiful soul and a happy spirit. To know her was to know encouragement, belly-aching laughter, praise, prayer, and unwavering faith. She worshipped in spirit and in truth, and even through adversity, she rose — lifting others with her wisdom and grace, even when she herself was hurting. Those who truly knew her knew her as love.
The family extends a special thank you to all who have offered their love, comfort, and support during this time.
Her presence will be deeply missed, but her light and love will live on forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
