Wanda Jean Franks passed away peacefully on June 22, 2023 surrounded by her children at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC. Her grandchildren had spent the day with her and were back home safely when she passed. 

Wanda was a free spirit, she loved the mountains, all things orange, she loved the holidays and decorating, especially at Halloween and Christmas. She always enjoyed a good laugh and loved her family beyond comprehension. She enjoyed watching sci-fi shows, all genres of music, especially 70’s rock music. She enjoyed cooking, buying new things for the home and for her grandkids. She was always there to support her kids and grandkids activities and causes and was very proud of them all.

Wanda was previously married to Tony Arnold Cranford until his death on July 4, 1979, then married her soul mate; Raymond Talmadge Franks Jr. on July 20, 1980. They enjoyed taking trips together, especially to the mountains as they both enjoyed the cold weather.

 Her family misses her tremendously and is at peace knowing that she will be rejoined with her soulmate and husband, Ray and her sister Lisa.
