My condolences to Wanda's family. I first met her daughter in College who is one of my closest Sister Friends. Having not had the opportunity to meet Wanda, I can only imagine my dear friends loss. Wishing much comfort.
May your faith in God bring you some peace amongst the pain. I’m truly sorry for your loss and I hope you always find your peace of mind and comfort knowing how wonderful of a woman she was.
My condolences go out to the entire family. I meet Chickie through her brother Michael Beckett, when she worked at Avis at the Phila International Airport. She was always pleasent, always greeted you with a smile. Chickie, may you Rest In Peace, you surely will be missed.
My condolences and prayers to the Easterling family during this challenging season. I remember Wanda singing in the Sanctuary Choir at Lilly Grove Baptist Church in Houston, TX when she and husband relocated to Houston for his employment. I found her to be a pleasant person to communicate with. She also shared a CD project from her previous choir.
My condolences to Wanda's family. I first met Wanda when we sang in the choir at Lilly Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Terry K. Anderson. I visit her at her home. I had the opportunity of meeting her grandchildren when they came to stay with her one summer. She had greenhouse and gave me vegetables each time I visited her. Sometimes she prepared meals that we sat and ate together. We talked often on the phone. If she needed something from the store and didn’t feel like driving, I would take her. I will miss her smile and her laughter. She was a joy to be around.
Gone but not forgotten 🥲. Her friend Novella Cooper.
She was a beautiful, genuine soul. I'm gonna miss our talks and funny conversations when she would come to the salon. One of my clients that I truly thought of as family. She is going to be greatly missed. Until we meet again, save a spot for me.
