Wanda's obituary
Wanda Gumter, 72, of Swartz, LA passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025 in West Monroe, LA. Wanda is survived by sister, Debbie Smithers her daughter, Karolyn Smith, husband Robert, son Mark Oakley and wife Marla and grandchildren, Sewl Smith, Grace Oakley, Stephanie Smith & Ace Oakley. She is preceded in death by her husband Chuck Gumter, parents, Henry Casey and Diane Casey; brothers Paul and Michael Casey. Wanda’s family was the utmost importance to her just next to her faith. Wanda loved music, her family & gardening. She will be missed immensely.
The family will receive friends on Friday December, 12th from 1-2 in the Chapel of Oak Park, in Alvin TX where the funeral will be held at 3pm.
