Wanda's obituary
MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1 pm at The Gardens of Bradford Village Dining Hall, 586 Piney Grove Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284. The family will receive immediately following until 3 pm.
Wanda was born in Granite Falls, NC on March 14, 1941. She graduated from Granite Falls High School in 1959. She worked in business administration and office management throughout her career.
Wanda enjoyed gardening. She loved flowers and butterflies and birds almost as much as she loved people. Christmas was her favorite holiday.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Warnock; daughter Kimberly Annas of Raleigh; step-daughter Renee' Warnock of Modesto, CA and step-son Richard Warnock and wife Glenda of Turlock, CA; grandchildren Kristyn Annas of Raleigh, Milo Hill and wife Charlotte of Milwaukee, WI, Britney Annas of Roxboro, NC, Monique Warnock and partner Tim Woodward of Emmett, ID, and Stephanie Mota and husband Henry of Turlock, CA; great-grandchildren Dylan, Nick, Richard, Alexis and Adrian; brothers Wayne and wife Janice of Matthews, and Robert and wife Mary Bird of Austin, TX, as well as many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Larry Annas; parents, Howard Bowman and Francis Louise Bowman; and sister Brenda Bowman Hall.
Wanda's ashes will be buried at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Hudson, NC, in private at a later date.
