Long ago, I knew Wanda and Marie and Mark and Leonard and Christine when living in DeRidder, Louisiana. We worshipped God together at Hwy 171 Church of Christ. Wanda came to mind tonight, as I was getting ready for bed. As I tried to remember people I knew from my time living there, Wanda was most clearly in my memories. She was truly a sweet person. I looked for her on Facebook and, sadly, found her obituary. It is a sad loss for all of you who love her, especially through holidays. Maybe knowing that someone like me, who spent just a short few months with her, but found her lovely and memorable, will be meaningful to you. I am thankful to God for every one of my brothers and sisters in Christ who were there in DeRidder.
