Wanda's obituary

Wanda (Wendy) Lee Albin Baker, aged 81, passed away on Good Friday - March 30th, 2018 with her husband and daughter by her side. She was born December 23, 1936 in Columbus, Kansas. She married Ira Neal Baker on November 6, 1954. They were married for 63 years. They had two children, Teri Baker Gnaedinger and Darrin Douglas Baker (deceased), son-in-law Gary Gnaedinger, two grandchildren - Erik Ryan and Amanda Grace Gnaedinger.
She was a homemaker and successful saleswoman for Avon. She was very active at Heritage United Methodist Church, participating in the Stephens Ministry and the Choir weekly. She was a devout Christian - God and family were always her top priority. Through her life, she lived in Kansas, Georgia, Missouri and finally Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was very talented and sold floral and duck arrangements at one time at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, along with a craft sales in Missouri. She loved travel and was always ready to go! She traveled on cruises in Mexico, the Caribbean and Alaska. She also vacationed in Canada, Hawaii, the Cayman Islands, throughout Europe and China multiple times. Wendy and her husband Neal enjoyed swimming, scuba diving, water and snow skiing. She lovingly took care of her own parents as they aged, along with her mother-in-law also. She is survived by her husband Neal Baker, her daughter Teri, son-in-law Gary, grandchildren (Erik and Amanda), and brother John Albin. She was deeply loved and is greatly missed.
