Walter's obituary

Walter Bennett Woodall Jr., age 91, of Honolulu, Hawaii, flew with the angels on January 30, 2026. Walter lived a long, meaningful life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to the people he cared for most.
Walter was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Woodall, as well as his parents, Helen Woodall and Walter Bennett Woodall Sr, and his brother, Dexter Terry Woodall.
Walter is survived by his loving children, Christine, Dana, Rina, and Laura, who will forever cherish the memories and values he passed down through the years. He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren, Evan, Ashley, Jenna, Troy, Jessica, Vanessa, Amber, Nicholas, Angelina, Samantha, and Eloisa, and his adored great-grandchildren, Izabella, Elizabeth, Ricardo, Luna, Joseph, Mateo, Ezra, Iver, Luke, and his beloved dog, Hachi who all brought him endless pride and joy.
Walter worked as an airframe and powerplant mechanic for Pan America, where he spent many years building a career through hard work, skill, and dedication. He was a man who understood the value of responsibility and took pride in doing things the right way.
Walter enjoyed the simple pleasures in life—listening to the Royal Hawaiian Band, spending time fishing and sailing, and gathering with family. He loved being surrounded by those he cared about most, and he never passed up the chance to enjoy an ice cold beer and a good conversation.
More than anything, Walter was a family man. He raised his grandchildren as if they were his own, offering them love, guidance, and support that will never be forgotten. His heart was big, his presence was strong, and his love for his family ran deep.
Walter’s legacy lives on in the generations he helped shape, the memories he created, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held close in the hearts of all who knew him.
