Walter Lee Thurston; affectionately called “Lee” has been courageously battling cancer. He has fought with strength, faith, and quiet resilience. Over the past few days, his condition has declined, and he transitioned on 02-23-26
Anyone who knew Lee, knows his heart. He is the kind of man who makes you laugh, who shows up, who leaves people better than he found them. The stories we’ve heard over the past few days — filled with gratitude, respect, and love — are a testament to the life he lived. Many may remember Lee for his impeccable work as a photographer in some of Boston’s finest Night Clubs, Birthday Parties and Weddings.
As we prepare to honor him properly, we are asking for support to help cover:
• Funeral and memorial expenses
• Outstanding medical costs
• Family travel and arrangements
