Walter Allison Taylor Jr passed away on December 12, 2021 at Golden Life AFC in Rockford, MI.  Walter, or Al as he liked to be called, was a man of many interests and talents. Whether it be working in his garden or collecting semi-precious stones and creating beautiful and interesting treasures from them. Taking trips to other states or cities to find information for his quest to discover his family history. He kept himself busy and had fun while doing it. He had a gift to be able to build or repair just about anything, often from "bits and pieces" of salvaged or left over materials, that seemed almost mystical. 

Family was important to Al,  playing with grandchildren or great grandchildren, making them laugh. He loved to joke, tease or play a harmless prank,  just to get everyone to laugh. I for one will never forget he ALWAYS played the ol" pull my finger gag, complete with sound effects,  to every girl I ever introduced him to while I was in high school. I could go on and on but you folks reading this memorial have you own stories, thoughts and memories about Dad. So I'll ask you to, please, share them with us on this web site. We all would like hear them all. 

Dad, you were truly one of a kind. We all loved you, rest peacefully we will miss you.
