Had great memories getting to know Walter and his family after they joined our church over on Wentworth, and hanging out at his grandmother's house down the street (may she rest in peace as well). He was a great dude and a fighter.  As a kid, its hard to fathom what kind of strength is took to deal with being in and out of the hospital.  Gone way too soon but he can rest with the Lord and not have to fight anymore.  Will be donating to the Sickle Cell Foundation in his honor.  Condolences to his mother and sister, and all who knew him.
