Walter's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Walter Minder, who left us on May 4, 2023. Born on February 10, 1943, Walter lived a full life characterized by quiet thoughtfulness, loving nature, and generous spirit. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
Walter is survived by his loving wife, Florence Minder, whom he married in 1974. Also surviving him is his children Mark Minder, John Gordon, Rae Gordon, and Caroline McDonagh. Walter's legacy will live on through the love and memories he shared with his family.
Walter enlisted in the United States Navy in 1963, serving his country with honor and dedication. In his civilian life, he was a devoted attendee at Plymouth Church of Christ, where he found solace, community, and spiritual fulfillment.
A man of simple pleasures, Walter enjoyed watching old Western movies, taking quiet drives with his wife, and solving crossword puzzles. These pastimes brought him contentment and a sense of peace throughout his life.
A Celebration of Life for Walter will be held on June 10, 2023, at Noon in Wayne. Family, friends, and loved ones are encouraged to join together in remembering and honoring the special moments and memories shared with Walter.
