It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Walter "Walt, Wally, Jr" Krystofiak on December 13, 2023. Born on March 21, 1945, Walter was a beloved father, friend, and a cherished member of the community.
Walter leaves behind his children; daughters Anita McManus, and sons Dwayne and Steven Krystofiak. He was known for his charming, witty, friendly, and happy personality, touching the lives of many with his infectious smile and unwavering positivity.
A passionate supporter of the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Wild, Walter was a sports enthusiast who loved to share the excitement of a good game with his friends and family. His other favored activities included snowmobiling, fishing, and hosting memorable dinner parties at his cabin, where he had an open-door policy, welcoming countless friends over the years.
Walter's favorite vacation spot was his cabin in Remer, Minnesota, a place he cherished for its tranquility and beauty. His top choice of drinks included Black Velvet, Diet Dew, and anything flavored with diet cherry.
What mattered most to Walter was his family. Family connections and traditions were his reasons for celebration, his source of strength, and his guiding principle. He often shared his life's wisdom with others, with lessons such as "As long as you're up...".
