Wally's obituary

Walter J. Insalaco, age 91 of Monee, IL passed away on March 22, 2022. Father of Laura Insalaco, Vince Insalaco and Walt Insalaco. Proud grandfather of Amanda and her husband Jon, Claire and her husband Ken, Tony and his wife Ashley, Savannah and her husband Brian, Nikki and her husband Nick, Andy and his fiancé Tori and Taylor. He was a great-grandfather to 8: Lucas, Kalista, Maverick, Kaden, Jon, Faith, Adelyn, Ainsley … and another on the way. A beloved uncle to so many. Also survived by sisters Florence and Carol. He was an avid cook, known for his pizza and lasagna, and a hard working gardener who always shared his bounty and brought beauty to his yard with abundant flower beds. He was a generous man who offered the knowledge and resources he had to whoever was in need at the time.  

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 2 - 3 p.m. at Parkview Christian Church 11100 Orland Pkwy, Orland Park, IL 60467. 

Sunday Dinner to follow at The Alley Grill & Tap House 18700 Old LaGrange Rd. Mokena, IL 60048.
