It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Walter "Thomas “ Goss, (47) on March 15, 2025.  Thomas passed away  at The Hospice Care Center in Largo, Florida, after a six month battle with Colon Cancer. 

Born on October 1, 1977, in Harlan, Kentucky. He attended Harlan High School and was a stand out in Football and Baseball. Walter was a vibrant man who loved his friends and family. His jovial nature and infectious laughter will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.  

He leaves behind his fiancé, Kimberly Kelly, Harlan, KY, mother, Janice Goss Parsons, Largo, FL,  his brother, Chris Goss, and a sorrowful sister, Jennifer Goss, both of St. Pete Beach, Florida.  Thomas accepted Christ as his Savior.  He attended Indian Rocks Baptist Church, Largo, Florida. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched and his presence will be deeply missed.  We will meet him again in heaven.  

Thomas did not want a funeral service and was cremated in Florida.  His body was returned to his family where he will be buried in Harlan, KY, at a later date.  He asked that we state  in his obituary the importance of getting a colonoscopy.  He also wanted us to share how much he appreciated the friends that made the trip to see him during his final months.
