My buddy, (“Bisquick”,) was a hard-working man, who always had a smile on his face and made time for others. I will cherish all of the memories of him showing up in my life, (both as a child and in my adulthood,) from attending my wedding, visiting my children after their birth, and attending my son’s birthday parties.

The things that can sometimes seem ordinary, like our Sunday visits at Woodlawn church ⛪️ and going out to eat afterwards when I was a kid, are what can actually mean the most, (and are what I will hold as fond memories.)

I am grateful for those opportunities that were shared with my Godfather, and for the relationship that was built with him because of the amazing friendship that he shared with my father growing up over the years.
