We met in high school, 10th grade, at the water fountain. Walt thought he was a big mack daddy player and said, "Aye shawty, let me get them digits!" I thought he was joking, so I laughed and walked into class with my best friend. I thought that was the end of it, but he came back the next day. "You gone gimme the digits or what?" I thought, "Oh! I guess he ain't joking!" I gave him our home phone and said, "but my granny ain't gone let you talk to me. She don't like boys!" I figured Granny would cuss him out, hang up the phone and that would be that. Nope. She never did, but she did threaten him a few times lol. That's how we met and had been in each other's lives ever since. 🤷🏾‍♀️
In response to "How did you first meet Walter?"
Toya reminded me about how I used to love to spook Walt by throwing a black balled up sock at him while he was snoozing on a sofa somewhere and yell RAT! It would scare the mess out of him every time! Brenda and I would laugh so hard! He would be mad, but then start laughing too. It go so that if he was falling asleep, he'd warn me, "You bet not throw no socks!" I'd promise, "Man I ain't gonna throw nothing, you tripping!" And as soon as he'd get to snoring good, I'd launch the sock I'd been hiding and do it all over again! I was a goofy lil teenager back then! 🤪 🤣

I can't believe it's been a year already. I hope that you are at peace and all your problems have been washed away. You left us early but I understand that when God calls us home we have to answer. Rest in peace brother
