Service starts at 1pm. Viewing/wake starts at 10am.

Buddhist funeral etiquette:
Red flowers should be avoided at the funeral. Upon arriving at the funeral, it's customary to proceed quietly to the casket and can pay their respects with a slight bow, hands folded in front of them in a prayer position. They may pause in front of the casket for a quiet moment of reflection.

After paying respects, mourners then find a seat and wait for the service to begin. Follow the Buddhist monks behavior as far as sitting and standing go: if they stand, mourners should stand, too. The service consists of chanting and singing delivered by monks. Mourners should join in, but if they are unable, they should sit or stand quietly and follow the monks’ guidance Mourners should stay serene and calm at the service to allow the dying person to pass peacefully from this life into the next.
