I am heartbroken to learn of Vyvy’s passing. My condolences to her family and close friends. I met Vyvy at ARBH only for a short time working there. She was a bright, empathetic, caring and kind person. She understood me and she brought out the joy in everyone she interacted. I remember she was always smiling. She made work look easy even if wasn’t. We had some fun memories and bonded over shared experiences. I miss her and hope she rests in peace.

Vy was one of the kindest souls I've ever met. We half each other up through so many long and arduous PM shifts. She was my go to nurse and I was her go to social worker. She cared so deeply for our team and our patients. And she always astounded me with her creativity.
On her last day at CHC, she gifted me one of her resin purses. I'd expressed how much I wanted to buy one from her and show it off. She hugged me and said that my support for her and my friendship was enough. She always made me feel seen and safe. Those two things were invaluable, more than anyone will ever know.
Vy, I'm so sorry that we never got to have our boba date. I wish we had and that we got to share our stresses and joys one last time. I'm sorry we never got to run into each other at AX after we actually met. I'll always be in awe of seeing you from far away in your badass Mikasa cosplay while having no idea that we would actually become coworkers one day. Thank you for holding me up and always having my back, especially when we were just over the unit. It was always a relief and a joy to see you at work. It was an even greater joy to see you spread your wings in new places and in your career. You were such a light and I will hold your memory close. Rest well. Sending you, your family, and your loved ones so much love 💛

Took me some time to finally write on here.
I’ve met Vyvy back in 2014 when we used to work at a place called Plato’s Closet. If any of her friends and family knew about that place, they must of heard about all the crazy customers and co workers we had to deal with on the daily. But if it wasn’t for Vyvy and our other friend Johanna, I wouldn’t have survived working there and gaining some amazing friends. I loved our hangouts after work going to places like guppies, sharetea, or our fave thai food place in Cerritos. Then we got obsessed with all you can eat sushi and kbbq. After I left that place, I loved how Vyvy and I still kept in touch.
We had the same interests when it came to fashion, tv shows, anime, video games and music. Some of my favorite memories was always meeting up with her at anime expo because she would always have the best cosplay. Vyvy was always so creative. Anything she set her mind to always came out so beautiful. Then our love for porter and madeon. Shelter will now forever remind me of her. To trying to meet up for edc one year but something happened to Danny. Save that story for another time. If you know, you know. lol. Then when the pandemic hit in 2019 we were both obsessed animal crossings. But thinking about every time we’ve hung out, I’m glad that every memory I can think about with Vyvy was always good, never bad.
Then when I found out the news literally burst into tears. It just breaks my heart because I wished I was able to make the drive and time to see her, tell her one more time how much she was loved and adored. How proud I am that she was able to finished school and become a nurse. She accomplished so much and to be gone too soon hurts.
Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to me after all these years. You had such a beautiful soul that knew how to light up the room. I’ll always cherish the great times we shared. Sending all my love, prayers and good vibes to your family, friends, loved ones and Danny. Love you forever and always.

We were so young back then. Vyvy was always full of life and fun, even when she was 18 years old. She will forever be missed.

Vy was one of the most genuine people I have ever met in my life. When I first became a nurse, she was one of the first people to express kindness and warmness at work. She exemplified herself as someone you should look up to in how to be yourself while deeply caring about the well-being of others. She took so much pride in looking after other people and inspired me and many others to nurture without anything in return. I really wish there were many more people in the world like Vy but that's what makes her so special. She is and always will be the truest of friends. Rest in peace.

I've known Vyvy for over 20 years; we grew up together, and she was one of my closest friends. I met Vyvy, Jenie, and Katie at Morningside Elementary, and the rest was history. I remember hanging out in my backyard, singing Christmas tunes into our old Nokia, sleeping over at Vyvy's house and waking up to a delicious breakfast, doing boba runs in Katie's old car with no radio, and sitting for hours in the parking lot just talking, laughing, and hanging out. I remember starting Friendsgiving with just the four of us around my small kitchen table and having that grow throughout the years to needing the whole garage to celebrate. Vy was my best friend, and she was taken too soon. You will be forever in our hearts, and you will be greatly missed. Rest well, homie <3
